White Chocolate Mousse

Our eyes get attracted towards all those fancy looking desserts in market. How much thrilling is the experience when you serve the same to your near and dear ones with your creativity. You can believe me these exotic dishes only need motivation to make, rest is too easy. Try this to believe




Preparation Time : 20 Min

Cooking Time : 0 Min

Ingredients :


  • 150 gm White Chocolate compound
  • 2 Cup whipped cream
  • Few canned cherries or you can use fresh one if available
  • Mint leaves for garnishing



Procedure :
  • In a microsafe bowl take white chocolate compound and microwave it on medium for 1 minute. so that it becomes smooth
  • Now take a bowl add whipped cream and melted white chocolate mix both well till it is smooth



  • Take a serving dish add 1 tablespoon of chopped cherries .

  • Now add a layer of mousse mixture. to give it a neat look use piping bag


  • Garnish it with cherry and mint leaves

Tips: 
  • While melting chocolate you can add few drops of milk also to get a nice smooth texture
  • For melting chocolate you can use double boiler also
  • If you are using fresh cherries then you can use it normal or to enhance the flavour add 2 tablespoon of sugar in 1 cup of chopped cherries and heat it in a pan for 4-5 minute to get a nice sauce kind of texture

Poha cutlets (Flattened Rice Cutlets)

Many times we are fed up of same dishes...hence this time tried our trusted poha with some twists and turns to bring curiosity and amusement on the faces of my family members,  without compromising any nutritious values... 


Preparation Time : 15 Min

Cooking Time : 15 Min

Ingredients :

  • 2 Boiled and grated potatoes
  • 1/2 Cup blanched green peas
  • 1 Cup soaked Poha ( flattened rice)
  • 1 Tablespoon chopped garlic
  • 1 Tablespoon chopped ginger
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • Pinch of hing Asofoetida 
  • 2 Chopped green chillies
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 2 Tablespoon roasted and crushed peanuts
  • 1/2 Teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 Teaspoon chat masala
  • Salt according to taste
  • Red chilly powder according to taste
  • Spring onion greens chopped ( optional)
  • 2 Tablespoon chopped coriander 
  • 1 Lemon juice
  • 2 Tablespoon cooking oil + oil for shallow frying cutlets
Procedure :
  • Finish all the preparation like cutting chopping, boiling potatoes and blanching green peas
  • Now in a pan add 2 Tablespoon of cooking oil, add cumin seeds, asofoetida, chopped ginger and garlic. Saute this for a minute. Add green chillies and chopped onions and saute this as well

  • Now add turmeric powder, salt and red chilly powder and saute this 

  • Add green peas to this, cook it for 2 minutes, now add boiled and grated potatoes to this and cook it for another 2 minutes


  • Now in a bowl take soaked poha, add green peas and potato mixture to this. Now add spring onion greens, roasted and crushed peanuts, chopped coriander, chat masala and lemon juice

  • Mix the mixture nicely and form a dough
  • Now divide the mixture into 12 - 15 portion and form round cutlets
  • Take a pan add a tablespoon of cooking oil and shallow fry your cutlets from both the sides till they are crispy and brown


  • Poha cutlets is ready enjoy it with chutney of your choice .....

Broccoli Almond Salad

Broccoli as we all know is a very healthy food. It is very low in Saturated Fat and Cholesterol. It is also a good source of Protein, Vitamin E & calcium. So we must add such a healthy food to our diet. Now we have a very easy and crunchy Broccoli salad.

Preparation Time : 10 min 

Cooking Time : 10 -15 Min

Ingredients :
Ingredients
  • Broccoli 1 no.
  • Garlic 2 -3 cloves
  • Almonds 8 -10 nos.
  • Olive Oil 1 tablespoon
  • Vinegar 2 teaspoon
  • Honey 1 tablespoon
  • Red chilly flakes 1 teaspoon
  • Soya sauce 1/2 teaspoon 
  • Salt according to taste
Procedure :
  • Take the broccoli florets and cut them into half
  • Take almonds and dry roast them and crushed them and keep them aside
  • Now boil 2 to 3 cups water and add broccoli and salt to it. Once the broccoli is blanched put it into ice cold water so that the broccoli color and crunch remains
  • Now transfer Broccoli florets to kitchen towel so that excess water gets removed
  • For dressing take a bowl, add crushed garlic clove, salt, vinegar, olive oil, soya sauce & honey to it and mix it well
  • Take a big bowl add broccoli, dressing and Almonds and toss all together
  • Broccoli Almond Salad is ready


Presentation Tip : Serve immediately with garlic bread.
