Rose Phirni

Rose Phirni  

Rich creamy rose flavoured rice pudding or phirni is always a favourite as festive season is round the corner. So lot of guests will be visiting your home and delighting with exotic dish will definitely give solid appreciation looks for your culinary skills. Rose favour and rose petals will add richness to the taste.

(Phirni is a kind of kheer, where we are using coarse paste of rice and you can play with flavours like rose, mango, khus or kesari. Choice is yours to play with the flavours)




Preparation Time : 10 Min

Cooking Time : 30 Mins

Resting Time : 2 Hours

Ingredients :



  • 1/2 Cup rice
  • 1 litre Milk (full cream)
  • 2 Tablespoon dry rose petals
  • 2 Tablespoon rose syrup
  • Almonds and pistachio nuts
  • 1/2 Cup sugar


Procedure :
  • Soak 1 tablespoon of rose petal in water for half an hour. and keep balance for garnishing 
  • Wash and soak rice in water for half an hour and then grind it along with the soaked rose petals to form a course paste




  • In a pan add milk, heat it till it starts boiling

  • Now add rice paste to boiling milk and make sure that lumps do not form. Cook this on medium or slow flame till rice gets cooked properly. Stir it constantly 



  • Once it is cooked add sugar and rose syrup and cook for a minute or two. Now add chopped almonds, pistachio and rose petals 



  • Transfer this into a serving dish and garnish it with nuts and rose petals

  • Before serving keep it in refrigerator for two hours 



Tip : You can also add green cardamom powder

White Chocolate Mousse

White Chocolate Mousse

Our eyes get attracted towards all those fancy looking desserts in market. How much thrilling is the experience when you serve the same to your near and dear ones with your creativity. You can believe me these exotic dishes only need motivation to make, rest is too easy. Try this to believe




Preparation Time : 20 Min

Cooking Time : 0 Min

Ingredients :


  • 150 gm White Chocolate compound
  • 2 Cup whipped cream
  • Few canned cherries or you can use fresh one if available
  • Mint leaves for garnishing



Procedure :
  • In a microsafe bowl take white chocolate compound and microwave it on medium for 1 minute. so that it becomes smooth
  • Now take a bowl add whipped cream and melted white chocolate mix both well till it is smooth



  • Take a serving dish add 1 tablespoon of chopped cherries .

  • Now add a layer of mousse mixture. to give it a neat look use piping bag


  • Garnish it with cherry and mint leaves

Tips: 
  • While melting chocolate you can add few drops of milk also to get a nice smooth texture
  • For melting chocolate you can use double boiler also
  • If you are using fresh cherries then you can use it normal or to enhance the flavour add 2 tablespoon of sugar in 1 cup of chopped cherries and heat it in a pan for 4-5 minute to get a nice sauce kind of texture

Eggless Chocolate Mousse

Egg less Chocolate Mousse

This Raksha Bandhan serve your brother or sister something very special. Egg less Chocolate mousse is a nice blend of cream, chocolate, vanilla and crunchy biscuit which all together gives a divine taste....


Serving : 4

Setting Time : 3 - 4 Hours

Preparation Time : 20 min

Cooking Time : 1 min

Ingredients :
  • 250 gm Dark Chocolate
  • 1 Tablespoon Milk
  • Vanilla essence
  • 2 Cup whipped cream
  • 20 Marie gold biscuit
  • 2 Tablespoon butter
For Garnishing :
  • Chocolate vermicelli
  • Edible Confetti
  • Nuts
Procedure :


  • First combine the dark chocolate and milk and place it in microwave safe bowl and microwave it for 1 min. Remove this from microwave and mix it gently till it is smooth 

  • Now in a bowl take whipped cream, vanilla essence and chocolate mixture. And fold all these ingredients nicely 

  • On other side in a bowl crush biscuits nicely and add butter to this and form a crumbled mixture

  • Now take a pudding dish grease it with butter add the biscuit crumbled mixture and press it nicely now pour the chocolate mousse mixture to this 

  • You can also present this in a cup. For that take a cup fill it half with biscuit mixture then pour chocolate mousse to this. Garnish it with biscuit mixture and chocolate vermicelli or what ever you want . Use your creativity 

  • Now refrigerate your chocolate mousse for 3 to 4 hours
  • Serve it chilled
