Fruit and Nut Smoothie

OMG....What a challenge it is to make my daughter eat fruits. As a determined mother, I invented this recipe having banana, strawberry, dry fruits etc. mixed in her favorite chocolate base and serve her in no time. Do try this with your loved ones






Preparation Time : 5 -7 Min

Cooking Time : 0 Min

For 2 Glass

Ingredients :


  • 1 Banana
  • 4 Strawberries
  • 1 Tablespoon chopped almonds
  • 1 Tablespoon coco powder or chocolate syrup
  • 1 Tablespoon cranberry crush
  • 1 Cup chilled milk
  • 1 Cup vanilla ice-cream
  • 1 Teaspoon sugar or honey
Procedure :
  • In a mixer add chopped banana, strawberries, sugar, cranberry crush, coco powder along with chopped almonds and mix all well






  • Add milk and mix it again



  • Now add Ice-cream and mix it once again

  • Take a glass spread cranberry syrup or chocolate syrup on the sides of glass and pour it with Smoothie



  • Garnish it with some nuts, sugar candies and strawberry 


  • Enjoy ..

Corn Panki

Corn Panki

 This is a traditional Gujarati dish, a small corn pancake cooked in between banana leaves very healthy as it uses very little oil. The best part of this dish, it is very healthy and cooked with the aroma of fresh banana leaves which make this dish a divine. It is one of my favourite during monsoon season of the year.





Preparation Time : 10 Min

Cooking Time : 10 -15 Min

Ingredients :



  • 2 Medium sized fresh tender Corncobs (blended in mixer)
  • 2 Tablespoon sooji (semolina)
  • 1 Tablespoon Rice flour
  • 1 Teaspoon grated ginger
  • 2 Green chilly chopped
  • 2 Tablespoon curd
  • 2 Tablespoon chopped coriander leaves
  • Salt according to taste
  • 1 Teaspoon fruit salt
  • Banana leaves cut in rectangular shape (for 10 Panki 20 pieces are required)
Procedure :
  • Take Corncobs remove the skin, wash nicely, take out corn kernel and coarsely grind them in a mixer with ginger


  • Now take a bow, add corn mixture, rice flour, sooji, curd, salt, green chilly, chopped coriander and a tea spoon of oil

  • Mix all ingredients nicely and keep aside for 5 minutes



  • Now add fruit salt to this and mix well



  • Now take banana leaf apply little oil on one side of banana leaf as shown in picture

  • Take a a spoon of batter and spread evenly on greased side of banana leaf

  • Cover it with another banana leaf as shown in picture

  • Take a non-sticky pan apply little bit of oil and cook panki on this pan from both sides till you get a light brown spots on the leaf or till panki is cooked







  • Repeat the same steps with rest of the batter

  • Serve hot with a cup of tea or coffee ...






Tip :
  • If rice flour is not available you can use besan
  • Make sure the batter is in proper consistency

Veggie Vermicelli

Veggie Vermicelli


Veggie Vermicelli a very light and healthy snack. Perfect for breakfast or kids lunch box.... Veggie Vermicelli is a soft vermicelli snack with a blend of Indian spices (garam masala) cooked with lots of fresh vegetables.... 

Preparation Time : 10 Min

Cooking Time : 10 Min

Ingredients :

For Vermicelli
  • 1 Cup vermicelli.  
  • 2 Cup water
  • 1 Tablespoon Cooking oil
  • Salt According to taste
  • 1/2 Teaspoon garam masala powder (mix spices)
For Tarka (Tempering) : 

  • 1 Tablespoon oil
  • 1/2 Cup sliced onion
  • 1/2 cup chopped potato
  • 1/2 Cup chopped beans
  • 1/2 Cup broccoli 
  • 1/2 Cup sweet corns
  • 1/2 Cup sliced cabbage
  • 1 Cup deiced capsicum (red, green, yellow)
  • 2 Green chilly chopped
  • 1 Tablespoon coriander chopped
  • 1 Teaspoon chilly flakes
  • 1/2 Teaspoon garam masala powder (mix spices) 
  • Salt according to taste


Procedure : 



For Vermicelli 
  •  In a Pan add a tablespoon of oil. then add vermicelli roast it for few min till it become light brown in color now add salt and garam masala saute it and add 2 cup of water. Cook it for 5 to 7 min. keep it side  
For Tarka (Tempering):
  • In a pan add  tablespoon of oil then add onion saute it for a min or two now add chopped potato saute it for 2 to 3 min once it is cook add beans saute it then add broccoli, (red, green and yellow) capsicum, sweet corn and sweet corn 
  • Mix all veggie nicely add salt, chilly flakes and garam masala mix and saute all ingredients
  • Now add Cooked vermicelli mix it with all vegetables nicely
  • Veggie Vermicelli is ready serve it hot with a milk shake or cup of tea.....
